🏴 起源：蘇格蘭高地，19 世紀初

最早起源於 蘇格蘭西南地區的牧羊人，他們使用當地羊毛編織這種「斜角碎格紋」布料作為保暖披肩和外套。
當時它是 實用型織紋，並非貴族專屬，象徵著「實在」、「耐穿」與地方性工藝。


🐦 命名由來：「Hound’s Tooth（獵犬之牙）」

英文名稱 Houndstooth 是根據圖案外型命名：
看起來像是狗牙交錯咬合的齒形，尤其像獵犬的牙齒，因此得名。
日文稱為「千鳥格（ちどり格子）」，形容其像無數千鳥飛翔般的錯落圖案，也成為亞洲文化中更優雅的稱呼。
